This Privacy Policy explains how CertSprint ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use https://getcertsprint.com.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: email address and password (stored hashed) when you sign up.
  • Quiz progress: which questions you've answered, your scores, and per-domain readiness tracking, so we can show your study progress.
  • Purchase data: records of which certification packages you've bought, handled via our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card details ourselves.
  • Support data: messages you send us if you open a support ticket.
  • Essential cookies / local storage: used only to keep you logged in, save quiz progress, and complete checkout. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data to third parties.

2. How we use your data

We use your data only to:

  • Provide your account, quiz progress, and purchased content
  • Process payments
  • Respond to support requests
  • Send essential service communications (e.g. purchase confirmation, password reset)

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

3. Third parties we use

  • Payment processing: Stripe — handles your payment details directly; we never see your full card number.
  • Discord: our community server is hosted on Discord; anything you post there is governed by Discord's own privacy policy.
  • Email delivery: Resend — used to send account verification, password reset, and purchase confirmation emails.

4. Data retention

We keep your account and quiz data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to keep purchase records for tax/accounting purposes.

5. Your rights (GDPR / EU users)

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Object to or restrict certain processing

6. Data security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, hashed passwords) to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, but we do not store payment card details on our own servers.

7. Children's privacy

CertSprint is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under this age.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
